Alexi Reibman and his 1st project!
Alexi is a member of the kids knitting group that meets Friday
evening's.
Judy has knit the Manon cardigan and a Farrow Rib Scarf. She is a
Saturday night knitter, a fine seamstress and a Patriots fan.

Photo's of Free style crochet rugs are now arriving. Valerie
completed hers in time for the Holidays. She used Circus yarn
and yes she did give away this gorgeous rug! She also made
this sweater featured in the
Vogue Knitting, winter 2006/07 in Cascade yarn, made with long
sleeves for a very tall daughter. Valerie is a Saturday night
knitter, come join us and see what else she is knitting.

Larry, a needlepoint expert who has moved to Chicago, made this
mural which is 6 feet by 5 feet. This took him only 6 months to
complete. We have an extensive selection of canvases and color
ways to finish your needlepoint project.
Meet Barbara and her companion Nadia. Fifty years ago Barbara
knit a sweater and after finishing it, she spilled something on it,
it stained the
garment and she was never able to wear it. With a little help from Elissa and
the very good memory of Barbara's, it was re-designed and she
is now re-knitting the garment in black and white cotton, just like
the original

granddaughters, Sophie and Mia. They are visiting from China
and wanted to see where Bubbe worked.

Meet David, 13 years old and he loves to knit. He
is a regular in our shop and a pleasure to have around the store,
with his bright smile and quick fingers! When I asked him what
his favorite things to knit are he said, "I like everything except
the heel of socks, that's annoying." His favorite stitch? Binding
off and k2tog. David needs his own page here! He
is now knitting a sweater he has designed, a pullover, with a
collar, placket, zipper and rolled cuff. He is using Reynolds Mandaly- 100% silk. This yarn is currently on special- for
lots of different reason's.

David learned a hard lesson this weekend. His design wasn't going the way he wanted at the shoulders and he had to rip- He wasn't happy about that. When I checked in with him on Monday, he had re-knit the shoulder and was ready to start the sleeves- from the shoulder down. David is a regular at Creative Warehouse. He is 13, a new knitter and in under a year has completed 15 projects! Here he is working on a pair of mittens made in Galway on four needles. Here is David modeling his second vest. Here are David's Opal sock's. He put them aside for a short time and his foot grew! He informed me that if you see a sock yarn you like- buy it quick because you may never see that colorway again. Look What Carolyn is knitting from T. Charles Collezione from Tahki Stacy Charles. Deisgn #13, a cardigan using Cosmos, Galaxy, Rialto, Ritratto and Venus. Texture and Vibrant color.

Lois is holding a sweater she is knitting for her
son from Artful yarns, Fable. This yarn is 85% cotton, 15%
silk and she used her favorite pattern from Yankee Knitter Designs-
Roll Raglan. This project is almost complete, just the neck to
finish and she purchased yarn to knit one for herself next.
Keep checking for the progress on this project.

A busy week at Elissa's. On Saturday, November 3 we learned
Tatting. Taught to us by Pat who has been tatting for over 25
years and self taught, she shared her skill and
expertise with us and within an hour we had all
learned how to use the shuttle to complete chains, picots, joins and
(some of us) rings. We will be offering this class
again, watch for details.
